This is the hose that runs from the vent on the valve cover where the rubber groment is inserted into the plastic connector in the valve cover to the air intake from the air filter.

The hose part number 7519697 and has a cooling/warming tube running inside it which is fed from the intake heater connection to the tube and terminates as a connection back to the cooling line to the turbo.

Spay a lubricant on all the hose claps that haven't been touched for at least 13 years if they are original in advance of the repair by a day or two and they will release.

When you disassemble make note of all tube to rubber measurements.

Undo all the clamps on the the hose and tube where it connects to the cooling lines. You need a plug to save cooling fluid when you disconnect the lower hose/turbo cooling connection. At this time you are taking the hose assembly away to cut out the tubing that's within the hose and that takes time and lots of fluid if left open.

Once the hose is removed with the tube inside you have to remove the tube so you can put it into the new hose. This takes using a utility knife to cut the hose and remove the cooling/heating tube. Be careful when you cut the hose so you don't injure yourself.

Once you remove the tube from within the hose you need to insert it in the new hose. This can be a challenge. Clean out the outlet for the cooling/heating tube in the new hose to knock of molding leftovers with a screwdriver so that when you try to push the tube through the outlet it can go through. Keep it going until you get enough space on the tube to put the hose you removed from the intake to be clamped securely.

Now the hose assembly should be ready to put back in.

If You have got to this point just clamp everything that you took apart back together.

The MFG of the after market hose is URO. The hose is a quality hose. URO has become an OEM supplier to Saab which might be spare parts.

Two Sources for the hose are see below:

EEUROPARTS http://www.eeuroparts.com/Main/PartsResults.aspx
Don't know if this brings you to the part which I see.

RMEUROPEAN http://www.rmeuropean.com/saab-parts.aspx#Category
Don't know if this brings you to the part which I see. Best Deal

I bought it from RMEUROPEAN with other parts to get me over their $65.00 min shipping for free. They said ground for free shipping and they shipped 3 day FedEx which got to me in 2 days from San Francisco CA to NH.
