...the speedo section so you can keep your odometer, and you won't have to screw around with clocking it.
Pull the speedo/odo unit out of the cluster, undo the 4 flat head screws on the back that hold the working bits to the plastic bowl, disengage the odo reset pin from the rod it actuates and pull it out, undo the two tiny black screws on the dial face, rotate the face around and through the odo reset hole in the face, you will find 3 flat head screws around the assembly that hold the speedo to the odo. Undo, and they'll pull apart. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly :)
