I'm interested in trying out some inexpensive Xenon headlights, but not interested in staring at an illuminated pictogram on my dashboard every time the headlights are on. My understanding is that the fault is detected in the orange "headlight control" module. Does anyone know of a way to fake this out or disable it, i.e. add some resistors or snip some leads in the orange box?
