It's pretty hard to imagine someone not realizing what the V was for and putting the bar on upside down. I bet he also tightened down the links with the car off the ground. I gave my indy the install instructions that came with the bars AND some written ones on tightening the connections at the links.
My indy put the bars on my car and had originally thought he'd have to drop the subframe or move the steering rack but said it went in without doing that. He said it took some thoughtful routing around stuff, but wasn't that bad. What he didn't like was how close the bar is to the fuel line, saying that it would be something to keep an eye on as the bushings age. He thought the bar could press against the fuel line when the car was on a lift if the bushings were old and soft. Maybe not an issue with the poly bushings, but something to think about.
