once up on stands and the wheels are off you can check the Discs, those 'sacrificial' Ali bushes at the front control arm pivots, and even undo the rear bushes enough to see if the rear a arm pivot tube has torn out and enlarged the rubber hole it was formerly bonded to.
Traditionally Bungler mechs often stripped out the captive nuts on the rear Arm bushings mounting points in the car body floor, so watch for that as a 'clunk' source. Also check the top Shock mount nut for being tight enough.
Happily these bushing bits front and back are surprisingly cheap and IF you have an impact gun (electric is adequate) A fairly simple but full afternoon's job to swap out all 4 ends.. Should? they prove the problem.
Best check the ball joints too.. I find these difficult to judge the exact condition of, so I replace them, whenever i have no info on their age/mileages. Also Inner tie rod ends are often overlooked as shimmy generators.
