I used unions and a ring clamp (see link below), and a teflon gasket. Mine was actually turbo back, with the first union placed before the cat, and for that union I substituted a 14AWG copper wire for the teflon gasket because I didn't think the teflon would survive that heat. Worked great, easy to fit, and no leaks. If you use Magnaflow or equivalent mufflers, it won't be any louder than the pre-made stainless system mentioned above; it will be louder than stock, but it's a low tone rather than a ricer, coffee can sound. Using the biggest mufflers that will fit helps - 4x9x18 and 5x8x18 is what I used.
