If you just need to replace the latch part that's on the body, what I can see looks as if this:
Four T-25 or T-20 screws holding on that black plastic trim strip along the whole sill of the trunk.
Once that's off you can probably get right at what's holding the latch part to the body; from above without taking sill cover off, I'd say it's two M8 short bolts, probably with Torx T-40 heads on them.
Don't know if it's adjustable or fixed; if adjustable, I'd probably put the new one on just where the old one was. Or, where it seems as if it was meant to be when new, if there are signs it has moved around.
Hours of work is exaggerating it. IF you have the correct torx bits already, probably no more than half an hour, maybe 15 minutes or less, all trim back on too. What would a shop charge? An hour, I'd guess.
