I bought my 88T(retired) with a burnt out ABS pump motor. I put in two more used ones which also died over the course of 50k. I seem to recall the RF wouldn't bleed with a miteyvac but was ok when I replaced the pump or did some serious pedal bleeding (can't recall which). If I get the car on the road again it will be (as Simon suggests) with the non ABS 87 master and booster my son found for me . I have a collection of abs parts(no motors) I would gladly part with, but I think the system is troublesome and hard to fix. In it's favor, you have a lot of braking power when vacuum isn't available to assist, if for instance, you don't like to let off the throttle when you mash the brakes.
