Ryand & Simon S,
White smoke indicates coolant is entering the cylinder. An oil leak generally will be light blue. I experienced a blown turbo when attending a local cruise in Daytona. An effective mosqito killer. The clouds of smoke seemed highest at high engine vacuum requiring shutdown at traffic lights. After swapping the turbo the clouds disappeared.
Simply pull the air filter tube off the turbo and look for oil puddling in the turbo air intake side. In your case check for coolant accumulation. If the turbo is dry, examine the spark plugs to see which is the cleanest, shiniest one. That is the cylinder leaking coolant. Try retorqing the cylinder head bolts before delving into head gasket replacement.
Happy SAABing
