Hi Noel,
Here is what I do for my 9k each summer (usually stored from April-November):
-Full tank of gas with Stabil
-Tires inflated to max
-Thorough interior/exterior cleaning and seat conditioning with Lexol
-Lubricate door/hatch seals with Vinylex
-Fresh oil
-Battery tender
-Crack windows
-Cover with sheet to keep dust off
When I start it up, I pull the fuel tank fuse and crank it a bit, then put it back in and drive off. Your brakes WILL feel like crap. I do try to drive the car at least once a month (I leave it registered) just to keep everything lubricated although when my 9-3 gets stored in the winter, I don't drive it at all until spring.
For rodents, I've read that mothballs are good. I've also read that red pepper flakes, mint and dryer sheets work if you don't want to deal with the awful mothball smell. My car is stored right at the coast, so rodents aren't a problem for me.
Good luck!
Pete
