SO... I got the Aero back, FINALLY after a horror story that I posted about my mech doing a HG/valve job on my head and then telling me the turbo was bad before he realized that the head was cracked. Anyway... He said he had a good used head that he gave it to the machine shop to test (failed to the first time) AND the good used head was said to have gotten a valve job and been flattened. The timing chain was also replaced. So Ive had the car for a few days everything seemed to be going great. Good power, quiet etc... Today when I got out of work, it started right up but I was definately hearing valve tick. The car had a valve tick before all this work was done and I am baffeled as to why it is back. It would speed up with rpm and getting close to the valve cover it got louder. The car was cold at this time but after I got home and the engine was warm it remained although it was more intermitten and would sometimes go away as I lightly revved the engine. The engine oil level was where it should be, same with coolant. Also, I noticed some oil seeping from the valve cover. What do you guys think? I think its BS...
