This is good information to have - Thank you. You are right, opening the anti-frost switch circuit does stop the fan so I guess that is probably not the source of my problem. If the pressure switch or anti-frost switch stops the clutch I would expect the fan to stop too.
Once the clutch disengages, there is no voltage going to it which is why I don't think its the clutch plates. I'll continue to research
