Guys, I'm replacing both of my parking brake / emergency brake / hand brake cables and I didn't find much in the way of explanation for taking the center console apart. I made a video. Basically you need to remove the rear seats, unbolt the four bolts holding the console down, unscrew the two screws holding the cover plate that protects the cables, remove the white clip holding the cables in... thats about all I did. The underside of the car is pretty straightforward.
