Bars leaks works wonders sometimes.

The '98 CSE I recently purchased was going through coolant at a fairly rapid rate. I had been told it had a leak in the heater hoses (supposedly a $150 fix) but hadn't seen any evidence of this. I drove it to work on Friday and during the ride home the check radiator light came on (this is a 100 mile round trip). I kept my eye on the temp and it never got above middle (in fact it's running quite cool most of the time which I suspect is the thermostat and will replace soon). I checked it when I got home and sure enough the reservoir was empty. On Saturday I got a gallon of coolant and some Bars leaks. I poured in the half bottle of Bars and put in about a quart of coolant to fill the reservoir then ran it at idle for about 30 minutes. Coolant level never changed except for the normal expansion. We took the car over to San Jose (bay area CA) and back and coolant level is the same. I'm pretty sure the actual leak is at a fitting on the bottom left of the radiator. It shows signs of corrosion and there was some slight coolant in that area this morning.
