Problem With Clutch Pedal Return...Possible Master Cyl?

Just did a clutch on a 1993 9000CSE. Replaced the slave cylinder, and used new plate, pressure plate, and throw out bearing.
Clutch appears to be fine.
However after driving for awhile, say 1/2 an hour the clutch pedal starts to get mushy. Goes awhile longer, and gets progressively worse. However, the clutch itself engages at the top of the pedal.
So the question I have is this air in the line or a master cylinder failing? I don't have the positive pressure tool to bleed the system, just did it the old fashioned way. The Saab site had some recommendations on cracking the line at the slave cylinder and letting it sit for 1/2 an hour and then stroking the clutch to bleed any air out. Which has been done, and it did make a decent improvement, but did not solve the problem. They also say that you can manually pressurize the resivor with a tube and a seal around the top of the resivor, and force any air through the system that way. But it seems to me if you are adding air to the system by breathing into a tube, that you will still end up with bubbles.
So whats my options? Do you think I have air in the line still, or do I have a master cylinder failing. Thanks in advance for your help, and recommendations.
Regards
Mister Pig
