Simon makes me recall a recent post on here from someone with similar trouble, leaking around where wires enter top edge of hatch, and he was advised, as Simon says, to thoroughly clear the area of any leaf debris etc so water won't back up around those wires but drain off to sides and down. An annual chore at least if not oftener, that I forget about till it's too cruddy for words, on mine.
