After two year, my 87/9000t is back on the road. I had to replace the exhaust down pipe, Clutch master cylider and brake pads. I flush all fuilds before parking it for two year due to left foot surgeries that kept me from driving the car. I had replaced the trans with a low mileage wreck trans from Colorado. Car has been shifting smootly, but slips after several shifting due to the rubber line being from the original transmission in the car not allowing all the fluid to release the pressure plate. . I was going to replace the clutch supply line today due to the slippage to which I try to never allow it to slip while driving. Now for the BAD NEWS! Driving home today, I was shifting through the gear and when I went into 5th the engine just rev-ed. The trans was sooooo smooth before it just stop engaging. Got the car home and onto the lift. C/V axle were just replaced three years ago and are fine. shifting coupling is good. I can reach onto the shift rod and engage the gears. The car made absolutly no noise when it gave up the transmission drive. Had someone check to see if the clutch pressure plate was working and it was.
