Yes, it was a quick and easy fix....(i removed the aquarium cover ( 8MM?) and 1 torx, I think....)to check for debris from the inside, but as it turned out, it wasn't necessary. look down on the false bulhead wall, behind the oil dipstick, and first open the rubber flap on the "periscope" shaped rubber drain. I had to remove that to get at where it was plugged above it. as I recall, I also ran a hose on the inside into the "aquarium" to flush out any remaining gunk, until it ran out clear....total job, 10 minutes.....hardest part was it took a minute or two to get the persicope back seated, and pointed right. people who listened to that noise too long without investigating reported having shorted out the cabin fan , and having to replace. So do it now.
