If the window "fell in", then there is a very good chance that the window regulator (see image) has broken; there are plastic parts that can crack and spot welds that can tear out. Once the inner door panel is off, it's fairly straightforward to replace.

I recently installed a used piece from a newer car, works fine - found it on car-part d o t com. Make sure you get the correct one, each of the four windows has a different part. I kept the old motor for future use in case one of the other motors dies.
