I can't speak to specifics, but it seems to me that the early '94 cars had *some* of the same wiring as the '93. This reared its ugly head to me when I was attempting to wire in an aftermarket stereo. Many of the online vendors for stereo equipment would have sent me what would be found in late 94 onwards.
I in fact had to return stuff because of this. When it came time to wire it up, it was circa '93 stuff that worked.
So it would not surprise me at all to see that sort of thing going on.
one other thing that comes to mind is my purge valve is pre early 94, while at the junkyard pulling parts off a 95, it had the other style valve (early one has smaller inlet and outlet, while later has the larger.
