On my '97 CSE I've found that the interior lights and door lights don't come on when the rear doors are opened. Initially I figured it's a no-brainer, the door switches must be bad.
But then I noticed that if I leave the driver's door open, then open a rear door, that rear door's safety/courtesy light turns on - and turns off when the door is closed. This would indicate that the rear door switch is actually working, but for some reason does not turn on the lights unless a front door is also open.
Should I be looking at a relay or some component other than the door switches to fix this?
