Your car is indicating that it needs a new oxygen sensor (signals are out of normal range) and you are ignoring its request? The Engine Control Unit uses the signal from the oxygen sensor to determine if the air/fuel mixture needs to be adjusted up or down; in its current state it is probably setting the air/fuel mixture to a default value and supplying some preset amount of fuel that may be appropriate for a cold start but not for warm running.
Since your car gives flash codes, I assume that it is a pre-1996 car and has only one oxygen sensor. First check the fuse for the oxygen sensor. If OK, I would replace the oxygen sensor with a Bosch (yes, get a Bosch brand) sensor. If you would like to save some money, you can buy a Bosch "universal" sensor and splice it into the existing wiring; they sell for about $40 on Ebay, come with a splicing kit and work well - I installed one in my Audi last year and it's still fine.
