I installed the T7 converter from Newton Systems 1 year ago. It was easy to install, worked immediately and has been trouble free for 11,000 miles. The cost was about the same as a used T5 BPC.
Whether you hack your ECU and BCV interface to drive a t7 BCV directly or go with the Newton Systems conversion is a matter of personal preference. Either way you will be better off than staying with the unreliable and overpriced T5 generation BCV.
