not at all similar... I saw your posting in the c900 bb. Honestly, the c900 and 9000 share almost as much as the 9-5 and 9000. These are all very different cars.
9000 wheels are 4 bolt. Bolt right up to a c900. Will not fit 9-5.
Engine is 2.3L for both the 9000 and 9-5. However, many things are different. Swapping is apparently possible, but a major undertaking. Our Saab indy claims it can be done. I would not go the other way.
Tranny. Not sure. Maybe depends what you plan to do to it (which way? manual or stick?). I'd be surprised if this was do-able, but I was surprised to hear the 9000 engine could be swapped into a 9-5.
Suspension - I wouldn't swap out old suspension parts most of the time anyway. Order online and have them shipped.
Body (doors, hood, etc): obviously not. There is nothing even similar, other than both cars have doors and a hood.
If you are looking for a parts car, it really should be of the same model as a bare minimum, and for the most part, also from the same year. That becomes increasingly important with the newer cars (like the 9-5) with lots of electronics that need to see each other. Eg, swapping a 2001 seatbelt latch into a 2004 did not work: incompatible.
