Man, it's really obnoxious to get at.
Pulled off the manifold to remove the sensor and recheck all the connections. CPS connector is a little grimy, but the wire seems fine both directions. I did spray down the sensor with brake parts cleaner early in disassembly, although it was still attached to the block. Maybe that did some damage?
Anyway, I'm ordering a new sensor from eEuro. For the price at Autozone, I can get another $60 in miscellaneous parts and hit free shipping. Sounds like a deal, and the car has already been down for 3 weeks...what's another couple of days?
I'll update when the thing is installed. Fingers crossed.
