Yes, there is one mount located under the transmission. You have to pull the driver wheel and inner fender liner to work on the mount. Replacement mounts are available in your choice of rubber or poly. Go with rubber if you want to minimize vibration, or go with poly if you're willing to tolerate more vibration to get faster, smoother shifts.
I don't think a bad transmission mount alone could cause what you're describing. It should downshift between 45 and 65 when you give the throttle a good nudge.
Your transmission won't need to do as much shifting if you convert to full pressure turbo.
