The nose projects too far so it won't seat in place, and the cable is too short to reach the connector. I double-checked Eeuro's listing and they list this part as correct for the car.
Unfortunately I did not discover this until opening up the package (getting it greasy) and attempting installation of the new part. Should have checked more carefully first, I got ahead of myself and just ASSumed it would be correct.
Normally Europarts wants returns to be unopened but since this appears to be a catalog error I'm hoping I can get credit against an OEM Bosch sensor. (Though they still list that item as "on order.") I have a query into their customer service.
In any event hopefully, if anyone here is considering Eeuro's Facet aftermarket sensor for their 9000 they'll find this note.
(They do have another aftermarket sensor that is very low priced, but I'm afraid that might be a Chinese knockoff of dubious quality. At least the Facet is of European manufacture and looks decently made even if it's the wrong part for this application. The box lists it fitting Opel and Holden models.)
