I am trying to figure out what needs to be disconnected to remove the brake booster. I need to remove it to get the peddle assmebly out.
So far I have removed the 4 nuts holding the peddle assembly to the booster. I removed the dreaded fifth bolt. I removed the 2 nuts holding the master cylinder to the assembly. I've removed both the clutch peddle and brake peddle. I've even removed the small electronic box at the top of the gas peddle. However I still can't get the peddle assembly out because it gets hung up on the rod from the brake booster. I have the brake booster pulled back as far as it will go (just over 1 inch), which has the 4 bolts clear of the fire wall.
I've been at this for quite a few hours now and I'm close to putting the car up for sale as a non-driver.
