Not real sure of which pivot you are describing but I took the car apart today and did not see any real loose parts, So, I took the actual latch off and cleaned out all the gunk and re-lubed. The lock seem to work just fine but 10 minutes later same stuff. Only locks 50% of the time. Is there a way to test the actuator? I just wonder if it isn't moving enough to get the latch to lock? Door panel is still off so I can watch the actuator put it all seems to move the same.
