Hey there my fellow old SAAB caretakers... When I step on my brakes or turn on my headlights, (while driving), at the exact second I do either, it "shocks" the system, so to speak. I'll see a general quick flicker of the dash lights and hear an interruption of radio audio for a split second. Sometimes it'll even trigger my power antenna to retract and then go back up. I did the re-solder of the cold and cracked solder joints in the red headlight relay a year ago because of a high beam issue I was experiencing at the time. I can see the alternator output drop by 1 to 1.5 volts on my "info" display when this "flicker" occurs. Any ideas out there? Bad grounds somewhere? Brake switch somewhere in the system? Alternator is two years old, battery is one year old Interstate. I'm not an "electrical" guy, but I've got 38 years as a professional autobody tech, so I do know my way around a car. Just figured I'd ask here to see if anybody else has experienced this situation, and if so, what was done to eliminate it. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to respond. Cheers, Bob
