I have three 9000's on the road right now and have had several others. It doesn't seem uncommon for there to be some difference in pedal feel and effort. I wonder if it has to do with the brake pad material? I have run many different pads on my cars. I got in my green 97 CSE the other day and the pedal was crazy hard for a while after start up. I suspect it has to do with the ABS system charging up after sitting. I nailed the brakes a few times in the first mile and it seemed to get better. After a while it seemed fine. The rotors may have had some rust on them, too.
