I bought a 93 CSE 5-spd really cheap as it had been flooded in the passenger compartment - sunroof left open for a long time. It wasn't wet inside when I got it but the TCS computer was still soaked inside. I could never get it out of limp home and used it for a parts car. Pieces of it still live on. In short, I would not want to use a TCS car for a daily driver w/o a back-up. Conversion therapy to non-TCS might be worth the trouble. Sounds like a lot of work. Parts for 9K's are getting a little harder to find. If I was going to drive a 9K long term I would want a parts car. I just bought a 2002 9-5 Aero 5-spd last weekend so I'm migrating away from the 9K's, although I much prefer the 9K if everything is working properly. My 96 Aero 5 spd is getting pretty punky. The 9-5 was bought from a friend so I know the history of it.
