Although complete used transmissions for a 9000 may be hard to come by, if you're in Europe you may have an easier time finding someone to work on yours and internal parts from other cars might be used in repairs. From what I gather the ZF 4HP18 was a lot more common in your part of the world than in the U.S. (The 9000 was the most common car here with that trans and I think the only others were the related Alfa Romeo 164 and the ill-fated AMC/Eagle Premier - all low-volume vehicles from 30+ years ago that most Americans don't even remember.)
