Is there a way to repair the EDU. I have an edu from an automatic works great gauges work everything functions. I'm putting a five-speed in the car I would like to have the five speed edu it is being finicky. I may just have to leave the automatic edu in there. I have taken the edu from the five speed apart multiple times there is some sort of glue over the majority of the circuit board underneath the black cover. I'm getting power intermittently I wiggled the edu around while the instrument cluster is just kind of sitting there and it turns on and off. It is not the connection where the harness connects to the EDU I'm wiggling the actual part that lights up in the center and when I move it around it is turning on and off. On that part it doesn't look like it really has anything to reflow but I guess I could try and reflow where the wires go from the main part of the EDU over to the part of the edu that lights up with the voltage and all that on it. I know there's lots of things written about it I've just never found anything that actually says do this and it fixes it.
