reverse illuminates the backup lights. verify backup light bulb are in good condition. I had something weird where my brake pedal was kicking on the dash cluster with the car off. Turned out some power was getting backfed in a weird way through a worn out bulb.
But really you need to do electrical checks. Maybe pull out the fuse, switch, etc, and start doing checks there and work your way backwards to figure out where the power is coming from.
