97 CSE auto idle speed Posted by skibumm100 [Email] (#3255) [Profile/Gallery] (more from skibumm100) on Mon, 14 Aug 2023 06:51:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I did a search here but most of the idle speed conversations were about older pre-Trionic 5 models. My white 97 CSE is back on the road after changing a broken DS outer door handle. When sitting at a stop light the car idles just under 1000 RPM and wants to push forward through the brakes. I have a Tech II but I'm not sure that will help me. I would like to lower the idle speed slightly while in gear. Is there a way to adjust it? I think the speed is controlled by the ECU, correct?
