Thanks JerseySaab. Much appreciated. I got the bushing from eSaabParts, p.n. 320219901. Haynes says you should replace the the steering wheel nut but it was a nyloc nut whose whose nylon was not engaged so I reused it with red Loctite. It was an easy job, some people stick in the bushing without removing the bearing and its rubber locating ring first but I was able to pry out the ring with a smallish flat head screwdriver in less than five minutes, I applied a little detergent solution to make re-installation easier. It's an easy job, just respect respect advice regarding your airbag. My steering felt so much better after the fix.
