Transistor#240/Panel indication lighting Posted by Saab Lover [Email] (#3406) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saab Lover) on Mon, 9 Oct 2000 10:52:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a 87 9k and my panel lighting (dash, ACC,ect.) is not working properly. I was able to determine that power was coming over by jumping pins 5/7 in the connector for the variable dash lighting (This allows my dash to remain lit with out rehostat being inserted back in the connector).
For testing purposes, I jumped the other devices that were not lighting and had success. Which makes the output transistor for panel lighting, the suspect. I have the electirical schematic, but can not locate transistor 240.
Where is it?.......If anyone needs any electrical diagrams for a 9K 86-89, I have the dealer's eletrical diagrams.
