The original factory shift knob on my 1993 9000 CS has come loose and become annoying. I want to get a new leather one. I have found one for around $50. The dealer wants over $100 to install one. Commonsense tells me I could just glue it on and save a few $$$. Does anyone know why this would not work? Has anyone done this? Please help, I dont want to screw up my baby.
