Correct. I presume the windshield washer has stopped working? This is due to the contacts in the switch going bad/loose/dirty. (Changed mine last week and works fine now!)
You need to remove the plastic cover around the ignition (four torx screws accessible from underneath). If your model is equipped with airbag, you have to struggle a little bit to remove the flimsy plastic. If not, make sure you pull the telescopic steering column all the way out.
The switch itself (on the right) is held by 2 brass 8 mm bolts from underneath onto a metal bracket around the steering wheel. The 4 or 5 pin wiring connection on the switch is at the back & is pretty simple to pull out from the clips. Unfortunately, the switch looks like one unit. I didn't have to open mine since I had another one from a friend and did a straight replace. You might want to open yours up and use some contact cleaner or just buy a second hand one.
Regards,
Vinay.
