there is hope, on our 89 9000 cdt, the same thing happened, although the whole outlet nipple didn't come off, just approx. 1/3 of it broke off. i went to home depot and got a pvc pipe fitting that matched the outer diameter, used my dremel to custom cut a piece off of it to fit where the piece broke off, and used some high temp epoxy i bought at walmart to glue it all together. it worked great. even if your whole piece broke off, hopefully you can still epoxy the entire pvc fitting on if you have to. it beats blowing several hundred dollars due to poor materials selection by saab engineers.
