Like Adam said, check out Quasi's site, but dont let it scare you. I had a 93 CDE turbo with 100k on it not long ago that was immaculate. The automatics can be a bit short lived, but that depends on the care and treatment that they have received. Mine shifted smoothly, eagerly and I was totally happy with it- I am so sure that it would have lasted longer I sold the car to my bro. The power of these is amazing ( I THINK yours is also 200 hp like the CDE... could be wrong). It was like driving a space shuttle. That year also had a recall on the SRS module and heater core. With the VIN you should be able to have your dealer check to see if the car has been repaired. Check previous postings on the 9000 board for more info on this. Some people have also had problems with the traction control, but again mine did not. I really noticed nothing in mine that seemed like it would be troublesome- the headliner was even up with no signs of droopage! Drive it though-- it is a huge difference between a 9000 and a 900! (In fact, if I were you I would get the 9000 and sell off all your old 900 stuff like louvers ;). Feel free to email me for more 9000 info! Good luck!
