Others I am sure will disagree with me, but if you're looking for a second car in that price range I'd consider a 87-89 9000 Turbo. You can pick up a nice one for under $4000. No, they're not as fast as the newer Aero's, but you'll have change in your pocket afterwards. Which you can use later when the heater core fails. A problem on all 9000's. I've seen 90-91 9kt's here in Los Angeles at around $5-7000. Great cars, also. If they're well maintained you shouldn't have any more problems than you would with an older one. Besides DI cassete failure, which I hear is common on the newer 9kt's
