CD changer location

Does anyone know of the preferred location and position for mounting a cd changer (Clarion CDC 635) in the trunk of a '96 9000 CS? The head unit I have is just the basic am/fm/cassette deck. I've also been told that the car might be prewired for this on the antenna side of the car and all I have to do is mount it and plug it in. Is is really as easy to install as it sounds (esp. when local shops want to bill me 45-60 min.)?
Thanks for any insight.
Ron
