Vacuum Hose?? HELP!!

I was looking in the engine compartment of my 1992 9000T yesterday because I just got it back from the shop. They had replaced the stationary idler pulley, so I decided to check out their work. When I was doing a routine check-up on all the fluids, as well as the battery condition, I noticed that one of the vacuum hoses near the battery and the headlamp relay/fuses had been disconnected on one end. I looked around the engine compartment looking for the other tube which the vacuum hose gets connected to, but I was unable to find it. There are three tube connections near the battery on the upper right side of the compartment (drivers side). All three tubes are connected from there, but the middle one is just connected to air. It just hangs there without another tube to connect to. I am almost positive that all three were connected somewhere, but after 30 minutes or so of finding nothing, I decided to see if anyone knows where this vacuum hose goes. The car drives all right, but I notice a difference, can someone please help soon. I just need an idea as to where this hose is supposed to get connected. Sorry about not knowing the actual name/purpose of these hoses...I am new to SAAB. Thanks in advance for the help.
