All sounds very hit and miss to me. Has anyone done anything more long lived like replace the ISO connectors, or resolder the plugs, or replaced the speaker wiring itself? It looked very complex when I removed the front right speaker to check the wiring, and found two sets of cables going to each of the mid and tweeter, presumably split by some sort of crossover, but not sure whether active, passive or even where it is located (or is it part of the amp?)
Is "wire wiggling" really the only way to solve this? I'm a little disconcerted that Saab wiring isn't up to the removal and then refitting of a couple of hi-fi head units!!
What a joke, eh?
Cheers - I'll do some wiggling on Saturday,
Zip
