Have you checked the Idle Air Control valve, mounted in front of your inlet manifold. I had similar probs recently, and everyone told me that it was likely to be my Bypass valve, turned out the IAC valve was sticking. Disconnect the two hoses and the electrical connector. Prise out the metal tabs at the top and remove the inner mechanism. Then drown it it WD-40, try to give the three little contacts a clean, but theyre a bugger to get at, then, ensuring the rubber hat is on the shaft, reinsert the inards. connect everything back up and see what happens. Hope this helps or even better, solves your problem. Its worth a try.
