Just hoped you might have some Supertires on or something (racing slicks might work) to compensate. :) I certainly don't want you grenading the transmission! No worries, just though you might have done it at one point. Anything around six seconds is damn fast, four door or otherwise! Frankly, I'm rather impressed that you are still on the original tranny. Even without any power mods at all, I don't hear of lots of people going that many miles without having the tranny rebuilt. Then again, I suppose if it is all highway miles, you could get away with it, and it depends how it has been babied by the previous owner.

Unfortunately, my extra stereo weight is spread out evenly, as opposed to over the front wheels. My Sub is actually behind the rear axle, my two amplifiers are under the front seats, and of course head units in the dash. The only thing near the front axle is a fuse holder and some fancy gold plated battery clamps, neither of which weigh much at all!

As the sub is by far the heaviest part, as well as the farther aft, probably doesn't do me any good at all... it's not even facing backwards, so I can't crank it up and get a little push from the air pressure. Of course that would mean the hatch was open, whose extra aerodynamic drag would nullify and push from the sub. :)

Nah, I figure my blue silicone vacuum hoses and blue spark plug cover give me more extra HP than any of my stereo gear...

Pictures of this and other mods are in the camera, but it's not a digital one, so I have to wait until I use up the rest of the roll to get 'em developed and on the web site...

Aaron
