Others have mentioned more thorough methods, but if you like things quick and easy (and without having to worry about breaking the resevoir nipples) you can just suck out the old fluid with a turkey baster, refill with new fluid, run car for a little while turning the wheel back and forth and repeat. Yes, it's not as thorough, but it works well. BTW, I like Valvoline synthetic fluid. I tried Havoline GM compatible fluid as well and it seemed too viscous causing the steering to be much firmer, especially in the morning.
