If you can't find a manual for the 9000 use a manual for a '88 or later 900. The brakes are the same. I have done brakes on an '86 9000t, my '88 900s, and my '91 9000t CD. on all cars I had to replace at least one if not both rear calipers. The e-brake is part of that caliper and if it isn't used the mechanism freezes up and you can't back the piston in to put the new pads on. The calipers were $56.00 (rebuilt) from the local Autozone store. You may also want to get now retainer springs for the rear (about $4 a piece) as the are sometimes corroded into the holes in the caliper. Last tip: You need to have the key in the on position to bleed the brakes. It has a power accumulator on the master cylinder. Good luck, and use that E-brake. Ryan.
